This
one has 5 notes and is hand made as described.
Originally it was made for playing [Rebonds] by Xenakis, and also
I wanted to have more natural wood sound than mass-produced wood
block so I tried cherry wood, Mahogany, and others to obtain my
desirable sound.
It's also modified to comfortably play complex passages and single-handed
tremolo.
Recently I had a concert in Toyohashi, Japan and found that I left
its base in Tokyo but Mr. Makino & Mr. Hada from Toyohashi Cultural
Foundation were so kind to get all necessary wooden parts and re-crafted
its base from scratch.
Since then I like this new one much better because it's upgraded
and much stable.
